Body image healing… let’s talk about it. Whether you’re just starting to explore a healthier relationship with food and body image, or you’re 10 years in and consider yourself to have a positive relationship with both, bad body image days can still creep up.
This does not mean that you’ve failed or that something is wrong with you. The process is a process…with ups and downs, and can sometimes feel like 5 steps forward and 2 steps back. There is no right or wrong way to be on the journey.
Normalize that less-than-great days will happen, and gear yourself up with tools and practices that support you, wherever you’re on that day. Body image healing is absolutely an important component of mindful self-care.
